Are medicare premiums included in box 5 form ssa-1099?

Yes. Medicare premiums are included in box 5 of Form SSA-1099. For 2024, most individuals will pay a standard Medicare Part B premium of $174.70 per month. However, if your modified AGI from 2022 exceeds certain thresholds, you may pay a higher premium due to Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA).
